About Us
SPD is divided in two main areas:
Industry – Dedicated to the trade of raw materials and other chemicals for manufacturing companies;
Retail – Dedicated to the trade of hardware store products and building materials;
SPD – Sociedade Portuense de Drogas, S.A. is certified according to Norm NP EN ISO 9001:2015.
Family-based company with exclusively national capital, founded in 1953.
Its main activity in the area of chemistry is directed to the commercialization of raw materials and chemicals in general for the manufacturing industry. (metalworking, galvanotechnics, textiles, plastics, leather, ceramics and glass, paints and glues, building materials, etc.)
Given its strong connection with hardware store customers and stockists, SPD – Sociedade Portuense de Drogas, SA continues to maintain a commercial relationship with these small and medium-sized companies, representing several years in the supply of various products for the sectors of civil construction, cleaning, paints and painting materials, glues, agrochemicals, etc.
